TPearson VUE is an electronic testing company owned by British media company Pearson PLC. Founded in 1994, the company currently operates in over 145 countries with more than 5,100 authorized centres. They offer testing services across a number of industries, from academic, to employment, to government, they are particularly well known for being the official testing agency for the GMAT, Cisco Career Certifications, Oracle CompTIA and the DSA.
The ability to repurpose existing media content that a company owns and repackage it as effective DS content is a service that we offer to clients and has become very useful in the digital age. Pearson VUE EMEA had acquired a US promotional film that was originally produced for a North American audience but was not suitable for a Middle Eastern audience. We were asked to repurpose the content for the European and middle eastern market making it into more of any informational DS solution for exhibition environments in these regions.
We took the original promo that had been created in the US and with the help of the Pearson VUE marketing team we redeveloped an updated script that reflected how the new DS solution was to be portrayed. We introduced a classical British voice over to the piece as well as introducing a new audio underscore to add depth. To improve the visual experience of the piece we added a number of motion graphic elements along with the introduction of extra video content that the client had within their in house media library.
The final piece was delivered to the client in an HD DS format including a number of additional media formats for use at sales meetings as an introduction to the abilities of Pearson VUE.
